花菖蒲園にて

M：Here we are‼ (さあ,着きました)
入り口で入場券を買いお庭に入ります。
M：This way.
A：What is that?
M：This is a tea house.
Seasonal tea ceremonies are opened here
for the people who do their tea ceremonies.
A ：Beautiful ,serene(静かな） house !
A： What a wonderful color of irises !
M：This is a large garden
best enjoyed by wondering around.
「回遊式庭園」
A： In England ,Japanese gardeners are becoming
popular. There are many gardeners who design
the gardens in Japanese style.
I have a small garden at my house.
I do gardening with my boy friend
at the end of the week（週末)
M： I do gardening when it is fine,
avoiding some periods when
mosquitoes are many.
You don’t have mosquitoes ,don’t you?
A： No, we don’t.
M： I envy you !
A：（花菖蒲の名札を見て）
They have different names
like our roses.
M ： Yes they do, Some of their elegant
names are the names after princesses
in the “Tale of Genji“

A：How many?
M： Here it says "There are 150 kinds (種）
and 1500 strains (株） of irises in this garden."
Shall we get rest at the arbor （東屋）over there?
I have a thermos bottle of hot tea.
A： Thirsty !
M： Here are our cups.
二人は意気投合ですね。外国で友達が出来るって
素敵！
A：I like this quietness in the garden,
Looking over beautiful irises.
