引き続き英語で会話を楽しく
続けていく方法、コツのようなものに
ついて記事を書いていこうと思います。
「自分は日本人、完璧な英語でなくても
相手の心が開いてくれれば
いい」と考えることです。
「間違って当然、かえって
ご愛敬」と勇気を出しましょう。
今回の記事を読んでいただければ
英語での会話をどうしても
上手く続けられないので
臆病になってしまう
英語で会話をするのは苦手、
そんなあなたの思い込みのようなもの
を捨てることが出来るようになるでしょう。
ですので、１分間だけ

「後にしよう」「他にすることがある」と、
あなたが今この記事を読まなければ
「どうしても英語で話が弾まないな」
という気持ちは変わることなく
２ケ月後、１年後も、今の状況は変わることなく
益々悪くなる一方でしょう。

繰り返しと思われるかもしれませんが、
会話のキャッチボールを続けるのに
欠かせないのが相槌を打つことです。
柔らかい返球になります。
「相手の方はちゃんと自分の話を
聞いてくれている。」と分かり
気持ちよく話が続いていくでしょう。
それでは「英語で会話をするのって楽しい。」
という自信を得るために今回の記事の内容を
最も効率的に体感して頂く為の具体的なステップを
書いていきます。

声に出しテキストを読んでみる。
【ステップ２】
赤い文字の箇所をノートに書いて
覚える。又フレーズが貯金が増えた。！
英語がどんどん身近になってくる

入口に英語で

と書いてあります。
入ってみましょう。
アンは漆塗りのお椀(lacquered/japanned bowl)
を見つけました。
A： Wonderful cup ! Is this old ?
M： It says 19th century.
☆ It says～：～に言って/書いてある事柄を
入れて「～と書いてある」
These are very different from rather heavy Western tableware
made by clay or stone
☆ (be動詞）made by～:：～の箇所に材料を入れて
「～で出来ている」
Lacquered tableware is light to handle.
I'll show you some of them when you come to us.
A ： Looking forward to seeing them, then.(これも相槌）
☆ looking forward to～：～に動詞の原形＋ing (動名詞）を
入れて～するのを楽しみにしている）
What's this beautiful box used for？
☆ What's ～used for.? ：～に名詞を入れて
「～は何の為/目的に使われるの?」
M：This is an inkstone case（硯箱）you can put your
writing brushes（筆） ,an inkstone （硯）
and India ink stick(墨）
In old time, people wrote letters or diaries
with India ink and brush. Beautiful handwriting
was admired as an expression of his /her
cultured character.
☆ cultured character ：「教養ある人格」
A ：In England, too, hand writing of people of old time
was very beautiful.
As for young people who use PC or IPhone,
their hand writing is getting worse.
☆ as for ～：～の箇所に事象を入れて
「～について言えば/関して」
☆ be getting ～：～の箇所に（この文章の場合）
形容詞を入れて
「～になりつつある」
M ： Me too ! My handwriting is awful！（ひどいわよ！）
思わず笑ってしまいます。
In this highly technological age, some of us
put importance to the beauty of hand writing
as an expression of his/her elegant character.
☆ put /attach importance to～：～の箇所に
名詞を入れて
「～を重要視する」
A ：A beautiful basket !
M ：Made from bamboo skin, which is very soft and pliant.
Craftsmen knit thin skins of bamboo into many shapes,
a box with a lid, screens（屏風）, table mats,etc.
A ：I'd like to buy some bamboo craft works in Kamakura.
M ： It's a good idea !
A ： What's this ?
M：This is a folding screen（屏風）,
In old time, people screened off their living space
with these screens.
☆ screen off ～:：～の箇所に仕切る物を入れて
「～を仕切る」
This can be folded like this, very compact and beautiful.
When I was young there was a folding screen in our living room.
Now we use curtain instead.(その代わりに）
You 'll be able to see many"byoubu" in Kyoto
in the room of temples.
☆ be able to ～：～の箇所に動詞の原形を入れて
「 ～が出来る」
二人は火鉢や屏風、刀、箪笥等を見て回り
溜息・・・
